The ITCO Tank Container e-learning course has been
developed by ITCO (International Tank Container Organisation) and
produced by Exis Technologies.
International Tank Container Organisation
ITCO, International Tank Container Organisation, was established
in 1998, and represents the international tank container industry
to the public and to governmental bodies. ITCO supports around 170
members worldwide including operators, lessors, manufacturers,
service providers, inspectors and surveyors. The organisation
represents around 90 per cent of the global tank container industry

Exis has been developing e-learning courses for the transport
industry since 2009. IMDG Code e-learning was developed in
collaboration with the International Maritime Organzation and is
used by 12 of the top 20 container lines for their global training
programs, as well as shippers and logistics operations worldwide.
Exis has also developed container packing and container
weighing (SOLAS) e-learning courses under the CTUpack e-learning
brand in partnership with the TT
Club and ICHCA.
Exis is involved in developing new hazardous goods initiatives
in the shipping community to increase safety in the supply
chain. Exis has recently worked with industry partners to
develop new software systems including a restrictions portal for
container lines/ports and a hazardous goods incidents database.

Exis head office is located in Darlington, UK for IT systems
development, sales and customer support. We have a regional
office and data centre (AIMES) in Liverpool, and a global network
of distributors representing us in the USA, Europe, Asia, Australia
and South Africa.
New York based National Cargo Bureau (NCB) acquired the Exis
Group companies, including Exis Technologies in May 2018. For over
a decade the two organisations have been working together in
containerised dangerous cargo management, most recently in the
development of Hazcheck Inspections, a new web-supported container
cargo inspection tool.
